The Accounting program at Las Vegas College follows National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB) and Accounting Training Unlimited (ATU) curriculum to prepare students for several professional certifications offered by the National Bookkeepers Association (NBA), including:
Las Vegas College offers a comprehensive introduction to modern accounting theories and principles and is designed to teach students the skills necessary to become employable in entry-level bookkeeping roles. Students learn to analyze and classify financial data, journalize and post transactions, and prepare financial statements.

Once foundational principles are mastered, students learn to apply that theory to practical bookkeeping tasks using applications such as QuickBooks. Students at LVC also learn to use and develop an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Las Vegas College’s Associate of Science, Business Digital Marketing program provides the theory, knowledge, and technical, hands-on training needed to be successful in this growing field. Under the instruction of a team of industry professionals, students in LVC’s Business Digital Marketing degree program complete a total of 96 quarter units through a combination of General Education courses, as well as specialized courses including:
Las Vegas College’s Associate of Science, Business Digital Marketing degree program also includes an externship. The AS program can be completed in as few as 21 months.
Students in Las Vegas College’s AS program receive a student membership in the American Marketing Association (AMA).
Graduates will receive their Associate of Science degree in Business Digital Marketing and are prepared to sit for the AMA’s Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) examination.
Las Vegas College’s Lab Assistant/EKG Technician/Phlebotomist program prepares students for success in a variety of entry-level positions. LVC students learn to perform many important procedures, including laboratory procedures for hematology, bacteriology, urinalysis, electrocardiography, and phlebotomy.
As a Lab Assistant, EKG Technician, or Phlebotomist you will work as a medical professional alongside doctors and other healthcare staff to deliver patients the highest level of care. These medical professionals perform the tests and procedures ordered by physicians and other healthcare providers to diagnose disease and other health issues.
LVC graduates will be prepared to test for the NCPT and the NCET certifications from the NCCT certifying agency.
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll have the chance to make patients feel at ease and be an integral part of a medical team as you perform administrative and clinical tasks in a variety of healthcare facilities.
LVC’s program provides hands-on training so that students may practice in real life situations, rather than learning just from textbooks.
